Hi Megan, that’s funny that you came across my recipe in Google alerts. Though I would love to take credit for the recipe it is not an original of mine. I tried to find the original link for you and can’t find it. You can most certainly link to me though, I just wanted you to know the aforementioned πŸ™‚

    Hi Suzie,

First off, thank you for posting your recipes, I think its the best gift you can give the world that cost you nothing to so. The world is full of many different people, different views on life, different hobbies. But I have found no matter what each person is like, we can all come together over good food. Its a great way to make friends and I can talk about food for hours at a time.

Second, I want you to tell your son that I said thank you for his service to our country, he is a hero!

Last, but not least, I found a chef from Russia that has the most amazing recipes I have ever seen, and Ive been cooking for almost 40 years. you can find him on cookinginrussia on you tube. Ive been a fan for almost a year now and he answers many questions you may have on cooking too.

    Steven

    • Suzie says:

Thank you Steven for the compliments and I will forward this message to my son πŸ™‚ I believe food brings us together too. I will certainly look up the chef from Russia, he sounds interesting and if you’ve been a fan for a year I bet he’s great! Again, thank you!

Well. I recently moved back to the Big Island and needed to camp on my land while house being built. My friend told me a joke that was no joke to me! I grew up with toy poodles, Peaches was my hunter, and one grand champion German Shepherd, Josh. However, the funny story goes…..a nephew came to visit his uncle in the cabin in the woods. As he came upon the rickity porch, the huge black dog started growling. He called to his uncle, and his uncle said come on it, he doesn’t bite. They sat and talked and set the table for dinner. The nephew noticed the dishes didn’t seem very clean. He mentioned it but the uncle said, well, that’s as good as coldwater can get them. They enjoyed a wonderful afternoon, and soon it was supper time. Again, the nephew set the table and noticed that the dishes they took down from the cupboard were kinda not so clean. He mentioned it again to his uncle who repeated, well, that’s as good as coldwater can git them. Later, as the nephew was leaving, he encountered the huge black dog on the porch again. He said, can you call him, uncle? “Coldwater! Git on in here, now!” (Note well taken!!)
